Sonja Nerad, Interim Executive Director
Effective March 16th, 2026, Sonja Nerad has been appointed as the Interim Executive Director of TAEH in a part-time capacity. Sonja brings over 15 years of progressive management experience, including 10 years as Program Director at Access Alliance Multicultural Health and Community Services, as well as more than 7 years serving as Executive Lead and then Executive Director at the Toronto Shelter Network (TSN). Sonja is deeply committed to equity and reducing the disparities faced by marginalized individuals and communities. Additionally, she has nearly 20 years of consulting experience. Her expertise includes strategic and operational planning, stakeholder engagement, evaluation and performance management, and project management.
